How to post a task

Write a great task listing, set your budget, and start receiving bids from local taskers.

What is a task?

A task is any job you need done โ€” cleaning, plumbing, grocery delivery, tutoring, photography, and more. You post it once and local taskers bid on it.

Posting your task

  1. Tap the + button or go to /post-task.
  2. Write a clear title (e.g. "Fix leaking kitchen tap in Banjara Hills").
  3. Add a description โ€” the more detail, the better your bids will be.
  4. Set a budget โ€” your estimate of what the job is worth. Taskers can counter-offer.
  5. Choose a date and time (or mark it as flexible).
  6. Select your location within Hyderabad.
  7. Tap Post task โ€” your task goes live immediately.

Tips for a great task post

  • Be specific โ€” "Clean 2BHK flat, 3 bathrooms, after tenant move-out" gets much better responses than "House cleaning".
  • Add photos if the problem is visual (e.g. a broken appliance, damaged wall).
  • Set a realistic budget โ€” too low and you'll get no bids; the market rate shows up as a suggestion.
  • Mention urgency โ€” "Needed today before 6pm" helps taskers decide fast.

Receiving and comparing bids

Once your task is live, taskers will send bids. Each bid includes:

  • The tasker's proposed price
  • A message with their relevant experience
  • Their rating and reviews

You can message any tasker to ask questions before accepting. There's no pressure to accept the first bid.

Accepting a bid

When you're happy with a tasker:

  1. Tap Accept on their bid.
  2. The task is now assigned โ€” both parties receive a notification.
  3. You'll be shown payment instructions once the task is complete.

Instant Book

Some tasks support Instant Book โ€” you set a fixed price and the first qualified tasker who accepts gets the job. Great for urgent tasks.

Can I edit a task after posting?

Yes โ€” until a bid is accepted, you can edit the title, description, budget, and date. Once a tasker is assigned, contact them directly via the in-app chat to discuss changes.
